Legendary English rock musician Peter Frampton makes a stop on his Farewell Tour to the beautiful Met Philadelphia. Fans packed the venue in anticipation to get one last chance to see the legendary musician in Frampton.
Frampton brought along Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening for direct support. Bonham is son of the one and only John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin Evening is a tribute to his father who passed away in 1980.
Shortly before 9, the lights go out and Frampton & company take the stage kicking things off with Baby (Somethin’s Happening) the night continued with song after song along with stories told by Frampton.
Frampton played an impressive 18 song set including a 3 song encore consisting of covers of The Beatles, Ray Charles & Ida Cox. Being at this show brought back so many memories of the years I have been a fan and the shows of his I have attended.
