Hailing from Springfield, MO King’s X hit the road on a North America Tour. On August 1st, the guys made a stop at The Queen in Wilmington, DE. King’s X have always been a favorite band of mine and also a very underrated band.
A surprisingly small crowd gathered inside The Queen in anticipation to see one of the greatest live rock bands ever. As the light go out the crowd roars as the trio take the stage. Within seconds the band go into Groove Machine.
From the very first note to the last Doug Pinnick, Ty Tabor and Jerry Gaskill never missed a beat. I watched in awe to see Pinnick still kill it at 68 years old. Over all of these years the passion these three men have for their music is very alive and well.
