Alter Bridge and Skillet took to the road on the Victorious Sky Tour. Both bands supporting their latests albums Walk The Sky & Victorious. New up and coming band Dirty Honey were brought along for direct support.

Los Angeles’ rockers Dirty Honey start the night off and really got the crowd going. Most of the crowd seemed to be familiar with them due to their huge success with their debut single When I’m Gone. With only a 6 song set these guys truly impressed me. This was the first time RockView Live has covered Dirty Honey, but will definitely not be the last time.

Christian rock band from Memphis, Skillet take the stage and roars from the crowd fill the beautiful Met in Philly.  Skillet really got things started with Feel Invincible. With hit after hit Skillet kept the crowd entertained and pleased. Guitarist Korey Cooper is always my favorite to see perform on stage. I would love to have her energy she possesses. There is one thing for sure and that is I will never get tired of catching Skillet live.

Finally the time has come for the boys from Orlando to take the stage. As the lights go out, Alter Bridge come out and go directly into Wouldn’t You Rather. Myles Kennedy never fails to impress as one hell of a frontman. The chemistry between Kennedy and guitarist Mark Tremonti is just incredible. For about an hour Alter Bridge display one hell of a show finishing the night with my personal favorite Open Your Eyes.
