Duran Duran is an English rock band from Birmingham, England. The two time Grammy Award winners are well known for a slew of hits including Rio, Hungry Like The Wolf, The Reflex and Girls On Film.
Duran Duran embarked on their “Futures Past” North American Tour. The tour kicked off on May 28 in San Jose, California after Bottlerock Festival performance the day before. The tour wraps up on September 19 in Toronto, Ontario.
On September 7, 2023 Duran Duran brought their Futures Past North American Tour to the beautiful Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Duran Duran brought along Nile Rodgers & Chic and Bastille along as direct support.
After incredible sets from both Nile Rodgers & Chic and Bastille, it was time for Duran Duran to take the stage. With the lights down low, out came a silhouette of four men. The four men were Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes and John Taylor and Roger Taylor.
There is no denying the chemistry on the stage from all members. I have to say I was blown away by the performance. Le Bon and company have not let age slow them down. Gonna go ahead and say this was the best show of the year to date.
