The power of the Fox God was once again unleashed in Philadelphia as global phenomenon Bobymetal played the Mann Music Center on September 12, 2023.

The powerhouse group from Japan brought their unique, mindbending mix of J-pop & Metal to the city “of brotherly love” as part of the “BABYKLOK” tour. A co-headline tour with Dethklock that brings two unique bands together with unforgettable sound.

Starting off the night was Jason Richardson. A solo guitarist that played hard hitting riffs to get fans ready for the show ahead.

Then the time came for the Japanese trio to take the stage. After a brief intro SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and new comer MOMOMETAL took the stage to a thunderous roar of the crowd. Starting the show off with the song “Babymetal Death” the high energy singers danced and sang their way through hit after hit which included “Gimme Chocolate,” “Pa-Pa-Ya!,” “Maya” and “Distortion.”

Babymetal delivered an impressive experience, particularly, their dynamic vocals and ultra high energy choreography leaving the crowd totally engaged.

Finishing off the night was the impressive Dethklock. Coming to the stage in a silhouette form, the band played their way to the finish line. With the famous animated cartoon playing behind the band, fans were head banging away.
