Grace Potter rocks Philly 1/26/2024

There are times where music artists use tours to showcase new songs, much to delight of new and long time fans. But Grace Potter is not one of those artists to do that. Her sold out show at the Fillmore, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania gave fans a tremendous blend of new, solo, and Nocturnals’ music. Simply put, Grace Potter did not disappoint.

Returning to Philadelphia for the first time since January of 2020, Grace brought her “Mother Road” tour to the city of Brotherly Love. After four years, fans were eager to not only see Grace but listen to her blow the roof off with her powerful voice.

After a brief opening from the fantastic Brittney Spencer, Grace took the stage in a scene looking a like back road at sunset theme. As Grace started up with “Lady Vagabond” fans were delighted in her return. Without blinking an eye, Potter went straight into three songs from her Nocturnals days – “Ah Mary”, “Medicine” and “Never Give Up” before continuing with a great 24 song set.

As the audience cheered, sang, danced and laughed their way through the night, Grace kept firing all points. While the first half of the set was mostly newer solo music, the second half was more from her Nocturnals days. But one thing was clear this night, Grace continues to shine bright and will continue for years to come.
