A 311 concert is certainly not an average musical performance it’s a celebration of the senses that radiates through the heart of the entire audience.
311 emerged in 1988, delivering a defying blend of Rap, Rock, and Reggae music . Making for a distinct sound that brings concerts to life by making each song not only heard but felt in the body.
As the lights dimmed and the crowd’s anticipation grew, Nick Hexum took to the stage with the band’s other members—SA Martinez, Tim Mahoney, P-Nut, and Chad Sexton joining him.
Their extensive setlist was like a trip through time with hits like “Down,” “Amber” and deeper cuts like “Beautiful Disaster” and “Creatures (For a While)” showed the band’s versatility. The audience was kept on their toes and wanting more as the band defied musical boundaries with seamless mixes between genres of the songs played.
A 311 audience is mixed in ages and backgrounds brought together for appreciation for the band’s remarkable music. No matter if you are a long-time fan or a newcomer to the band, strangers become friends, all connected by the shared experience of night. 311’s live flawless performance this night was a testament to the bands love of music and their fans.
