The Roots Picnic is back for 2025, and this year’s lineup is nothing short of legendary. Taking over The Mann in Fairmount Park on May 31 – June 1, the festival—curated by The Roots—continues to deliver an iconic blend of hip-hop, R&B, soul, and cultural experiences that make it one of the must-attend events of the year.
The 2025 lineup is headlined by none other than D’Angelo with The Roots, Meek Mill, and Lenny Kravitz, bringing a mix of timeless soul, hometown pride, and rock-infused energy to the main stage. Joining them are powerhouse artists GloRilla, Miguel, Tems, Latto, and Kaytranada, alongside a special J. Period Live Mixtape featuring Black Thought, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz. Hip-hop fans can also expect a high-energy set from Jeezy, while R&B lovers will be treated to a tribute as Musiq Soulchild celebrates 25 years of Aijuswanaseing and The Roots mark 30 years of Do You Want More?!!!
