The Lumineers’ ‘Automatic’ Album & 2025 World Tour: Release Date, Tracklist, and How to Get Ticket

The Lumineers are set to captivate audiences once again with their fifth studio album, “Automatic,” released on February 14, 2025. This album delves into the complexities of modern life, exploring themes like the blurred lines between reality and illusion, and the myriad ways individuals seek to navigate both monotony and overstimulation.

Recorded in less than a month at Utopia Studios in Woodstock, New York, “Automatic” reflects the band’s commitment to raw and spontaneous music-making. The creative process was heavily influenced by The Beatles’ “Get Back” documentary and Bruce Springsteen’s “Nebraska,” aiming to capture an authentic and unfiltered sound.

The lead single, “Same Old Song,” released on January 8, 2025, offers a glimpse into the album’s introspective nature. Accompanied by a music video directed by Anaïs LaRocca, the track has resonated with fans for its poignant lyrics and minimalist instrumentation.

To bring “Automatic” to life, The Lumineers have announced the “Automatic World Tour,” commencing on July 3, 2025, in Saratoga Springs, New York. The North American leg will feature performances in major cities, including a notable show at Citi Field in Queens on July 11. The tour will conclude on October 14 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

Fans can anticipate a rich concert experience, with setlists blending new tracks from “Automatic” and beloved hits like “Ho Hey.” The tour will also feature a diverse lineup of supporting acts, such as Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Young the Giant, St. Vincent, and Lake Street Dive, varying by location.

Tickets for the “Automatic World Tour” go on sale to the general public on February 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time. American Express® Card Members have access to a presale beginning February 18 at 12 p.m. local time.
