On April 25th, a sold-out crowd at The Fillmore Philadelphia was treated to a night of pure emotion, understated charm, and soul-stirring vocals as Myles Smith delivered a performance that felt both intimate and anthemic.
The evening kicked off with an impressive set from Tors, the UK trio whose soaring harmonies and stripped-back songwriting warmed the room with just the right balance of energy and reflection. But when Myles took the stage, there was a noticeable shift. The crowd leaned in—literally and emotionally—as he opened with “Wait for You,” setting the tone for what would become an evening rooted in vulnerability and quiet strength.
Running through tracks like “Behind,” “Whisper,” “Solo,” and the beautifully aching “River,” Myles showcased the kind of vocal control and emotional weight that has quickly made him one of the most compelling new voices on the rise. The crowd sang along, phones stayed low, and for much of the night, The Fillmore felt more like a candlelit living room than a packed Philly venue.
But it was the live debut of “My First Heartbreak”—a track released just yesterday—that truly froze the room. Written about the loss of his father during childhood, the song was devastating in its honesty, delivered with trembling vocals and raw clarity. There wasn’t a sound in the room besides Myles and his guitar. It was the kind of performance you don’t forget.
He also gave fans a peek into the future, performing two unreleased tracks “Someone New” and “Gold” —that proved his next wave of music will be just as honest and affecting as what’s come before. And of course, fan favorites like “3AM,” “Little by Little,” “My Home,” and “Stargazing” were met with thunderous applause and gentle sing-alongs.

Myles Smith’s Philly show was more than a performance—it was a moment. Equal parts grief and healing, stripped-down storytelling and soaring melodies, it reminded everyone in the room that some of the most powerful nights are the quietest ones.
RockView will be watching closely as Myles continues his rise—and if last night was any indication, he’s just getting started.
