Jerry Cantrell is best known for being the lead guitarist for the legendary Seattle grunge rock band Alice In Chains. Cantrell has also had a solo career since 1996 and has released five studio albums.
On August 16th, Cantrell kicked off the second leg of the I Want Blood Tour in San Diego, California and will wrap up on September 14th in Kansas City, Missouri. The tour is in support of Cantrell’s fifth studio album I Want Blood released on October 18, 2024.
On September 9, 2025 Cantrell brought his I Want Blood Tour to Archer Music Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Archer Music Hall is a new venue in the area that opened if’s door back in March of this year. Cantrell brought along rock band Sparta from El Paso, Texas.
This was my first time attending a show at Archer Music Hall, but won’t be my last. The venue is definitely one of my new favorites.
Jerry Cantrell and his band put on one sensational show for the Allentown crowd. Cantrell played a great setlist consisting of songs from his solo career as well as Alice In Chains classics including “Them Bones”, “Man In The Box”, “Would” and “Rooster”.
I would say without a doubt that this Cantrell show was the best I have ever seen. Don’t think it will be possible to beat in the future, but I’ll be there to find out!
